Art installation Inner World: sculptures, film and audio a complete experience
Lemniscate: symbol of infinity
This beautiful form inspired me to play with the movement of the inner space.
What is outside is inside as well. Infinity has no bounderies, and who knows which world we are in.
The images projected on the sculptures are the microscopic cells with all its workings., the cosmos and the inner human cell movements.
For the art installation I used old matrases on which all liquids have been soaked in and dipped them in gypsum.
A lot of dreams and pleasure have taken place on these important attributes of us humans. The flame female entrance, hangs in the air, forming a lemniscate.
Underneath on the ground the sperm cells are wiggling in the same leminiscate form.
The iron lemniscate sculpture which stands outside is made of recycled iron and oysters, hanging in 2 x 9 copper baskets.
